I spent so many days researching and worrying and it took a lot of effort, and I thought to share this experience I had, as an international fan in Seoul, buying tickets like a k-army. I knew that while I was here, I wanted to attend at least one BTS schedule since there aren’t many of such opportunities! Hence, I didn’t bother bjtcoin for it. However, I eventually didn’t go through with it because SBS has a policy of only revealing the line up of performers on the day itself, literally a few hours before the live recording. As BTS was busy with their comeback show on mnet, I wasn’t sure if they would be appearing and thus decided to forgo it.
The ticket wasn’t cheap about 54, krwbitciin you don’t want to queue in the wee hours of the morning and want tuckets be sure to get a ticket, there are online sites in eng that sells these tickets regularly — I used Trazy! At that time, it was about a month before sale release on interpark. Knowing that the interpark system will be complicated, I went in a couple times prior sales to check out the procedures to purchasing tickets.
Honestly, given their massive popularity, Bitcpin had serious doubts about being able to snatch a ticket in time, in Korea no less, but I still held on to my hopes. I was super nervous and my hands were sweaty and shaky. I was so disappointed. We failed to get any tickets. However, I thought about how much I wanted to see the boys, and how hard they work throughout the year with their hectic schedules, and thought that if I call myself an ARMY, I should try my hardest to see them and not give up till the end!
In Korea, Ticketbay is famous for being the second popular ticket marketplace when all tickets for concert has been sold out! A third party purchase site images from Koreanbuddy.
What they do is essentially collate ticketz fan ticket orders of ticketbay tickets, and help to purchase. Note: Bicoin did not use this service, because firstly, tickets are not guaranteed, secondly the service is more expensive, and thirdly I felt safer being directly involved in my ticket purchase.
As you can see, ticket prices here sell much higher than the normal retailing buying concert tickets with bitcoin. One of the sellers told me it’s because Ticketbay charges them for using the site. Hence, tickets are usually at least 2 times. And I chose the final concert day, and these tickets are generally priced higher than the first 2 days due to demand! The seat in front of me was empty during the concert and I wondered if it was because it was too expensive for people to buy :pensive: such a shame when another ARMY could have gotten a chance to watch it!!
With that price, people could even buy round trip tickets already and a few days accomodation in seoul The seat isn’t bad at tickkets I personally feel Gocheok Sky Dome is well made in the sense that the tickets aren’t too terrible, even on the 4th floor.
It’s a really gentle incline up the sides! If you are confident in Korean, I think this method is alright. If you do not like confrontation, choose the blue ones . As there are always the risk of fraud with online sales, I sought to find a seller that I can communicate with directly! And my seller happened to be a really good one because this is what she wrote:. Basically, a Kakao link to a private sales room chat is provided, and you and the seller can use it anonymously to discuss the purchase.
I know better than anyone how uneasy an online transaction can be, so contact me and I’ll be willing to provide all certifications. If you do not believe me, it’s okay not to buy. Be fast in purchase or I’ll just leave. It fits what I’m looking for because I had hoped to ask for the interpark email purchase screenshots as proof! Note: Many sellers do not offer this option, and would prefer you just reserve the tickets on site and transfer them the money.
This of course involves higher risk, but is still possible. As I had some understanding of Korean, I thought to Kakao her in Korean, ubying that’s the language they are most comfortable in!
With little knowledge of Korean this will be a little harder, but translation apps like PAPAGO will work wonders during times like this! As you guys see, I had to liaise with a few sellers because tickets sell out crazily fast :sob: :sob: :sob:.
In the first chat, I was too late and someone bought it ahead of me, even though I liaised first :sob: :sob: :sob: I was so upset. I managed to buy it in the second one, and while I started the conversation in Korean, I soon found out that the seller speaks fluent English as well!
Here are some screenshots from our interaction! I basically tlckets it was the last day concert, and asked for proof. She sent them to me promptly! As this seller is trustworthy, I got her account details and did her an ATM transfer at a physical bank.
As mentioned, because sales go crazy fast, even during the time that I hadn’t managed to transfer still within the same daythere were other buyers offering her higher quotes!! I had to hike up my offer by 20, won, and told her to reserve the ticket for me. No issues. And finally After much uneasiness I couldn’t believe that I did it, there were so many times when I felt helpless and lost and wanted to give up thinking it was impossible It was a really really draining process with school and life in the way.
Concetr, working hard pays off as Bangtan says, and I really worked hard for my dreams — to see the boys!!! Being in a sea of ARMYs felt crazily amazing. However I got it online, and not from the venue itself because I was afraid it’ll be sold out!!
And whenever they wanted to hush the crowd and built suspense, they turned all of the lights off leaving us in a black ocean :joy:. The concert ended in a sea of tears and smiles, buyng the boys told us how much they mean to us.
And trust me, ARMYs screamed our love out for them too!!! Thank you for reading till the end of this longggggg post!! I apologise if any parts are not clear, because this is my first guide!
Also, feel free to comment any questions if there are, and I’ll try my best to answer them!! Just wanna say, don’t give up ARMYs!! Even though it might seem bitfoin impossible to ever see Bangtan I thought the same too :sob:but if we believe, work hard and keep trying, it’ll definitely happen one day!!! I stumbled upon this website ticjets for a concert ticket.
I know this out of the Army’s topic. But I hope someone from here can help me how to purchase and where to purchase a concert ticket for The concert. I ticket get concert tickets through interpark so I was wondering if you could give me advice on buying resale tickets. I was looking through Ticketbay and saw that most of them don’t have contact information like the one you bought from, which makes me very skeptical of buying since I don’t know if I will be scammed or not but I’m desperate because I really want to go to their first LY concert ttickets Seoul because I’ve never been to a concert before and this might be the only time I can go to a BTS concert in Seoul.
Also, I heard that you must have a korean bank account to use Ticketbay and sadly I will not be arriving in Korea until the 24th of August which is literally a day before the concert so I might be cutting it too close to buy tickets that close to the concert date in a foreign country. Would you happen to have any tips for me?
Thank you so much! So sorry for the late reply!! Perhaps you can try Twitter, because it’s easier to communicate there and I wth a friend who successfully managed to buy from someone there! Usually as the concert date nears more sellers will post on Twitter because they are desperate to sell the tickets off. I’m sorry I can’t be of more help, and I sincerely wish you the best of luck!!! Thank you for this really helpful post!! I have a question and I would be so grateful if you could concerh If I’m a foreigner without a korean bank account or address, do you think it’s possible to still buy tickets on ticketbay without a helper service?
I’m so sorry for the late response, because I haven’t been on amino much and missed your comment! It’d be best if you know someone currently in Korea for this! I’m sorry I can’t help you more with this! One thing you could try if you have a posb account is to transfer directly from your acc to the seller’s acc via ibanking they do have the service but it’ll take days and you have got to be careful with scammers as the tickets ain’t cheap.
Wishing you best of luck!! This website saves cookies to your browser in order to improve your online experience and show you personalized content.
